Tools#11
I'm actually surprised that I have gotten this far.

1. I enjoyed making the Comic strip. I also found videos that will be useful. I plan on using the Wordle to introduce new vocabulary.

2. I  feel more comfortable using some of these tools in the classroom. I realize that the classroom needs to change and I hope that I am up for the challenge.

3. I am surprised at the amount of information and teaching aids that are available. I think that the biggest challenge will sifting through it all.

Tool #10
Students should know several things about good digital citizenship.
1. Respect on'line privacy. Keep passwords secret. Be careful in sharing personal information. Be careful what comments, photos, and videos you post. Once it is on the internet , it never really goes away.
2. No cyberbullying!
3. Just because it's on the internet doesn't make to true. Use multiple sources. Learn to evaluate who is  sponsoring the web site.

http://www.commonsensemedia.org/educators is an excellent site to find information and being a good citizen. There are helpful lessons to educate the students. There are also lesson to help parents.

Students need to be aware of what is expected of them on line. Written instructions signed by both student and parents should on file.

Tool #9
1.If technology is not tied to the objective, then the whole learning process is skewed. In a classroom, learning is the fundamental objective and technology isn't just for fun.
2.If students are not held accountable then some of them will not do the assignment- they will simply play.
3.I went to SBISD interactive database and found several useful flipcharts. I also went to Manipula Math and found several ways for the students to interact while learning the unit circle. Quizing on the unit circle would hold the  students accountable.
4.
Tool #8
1. I learned that we will have charging stations. This will make it mach easier to keep track.
2. I now know that I will be able  plug in my netbook  for push updates each night.

Classroom Management
Clear instructions will be needed to be given to the students. It should probably be in writing.
Students need guidance in when it is appropriate to use the Ipads and when they should they need to be shut down. I summer school, I always had a problem keeping the students on the proper site. Clear consequences should be understood before beginning.

Tool #7
My PreCal students are always asking where to go for help. I would like for the students to  find sites with videos that could be shared with other classes. Students would coordinate through an Edmodo group. I would like to begin with the students posting tutorials on the group. Later I will have the students make their own tutorials to be tested
